Account Deletion

1. Overview

This page explains how to delete your ThinkDocu account and what happens to your data. Account deletion permanently removes your access and cannot be undone once completed.

2. Delete your account in the app

If you can access the app, you can delete your account directly:

  1. Sign in to ThinkDocu.
  2. Open Profile, in Danger zone.
  3. Select Delete Account and confirm the request.

If you cannot access the app, use the email method below.

3. Delete your account by email

Send a request from the email address associated with your account to [email protected].

  • Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".
  • Include your full name and account email address.
  • If you subscribed, mention the plan name so we can cancel renewals.

4. What gets deleted

  • Profile details such as name, username, and account email address.
  • Content you created or uploaded, including videos, notes, and playlists.
  • Learning history, preferences, and usage data tied to your account.

If you want to delete specific content, you can do so in the app and remove it yourself. The content is deleted immediately.

5. What we may retain

We may retain limited information required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as billing records, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and security logs. Any retained data is isolated and protected.

Backups are routinely overwritten and are typically purged within 30 days.

6. Processing time

We begin processing deletion requests immediately and complete deletion within 30 days. We will confirm by email when the process is finished.

7. Subscriptions

Active subscriptions are canceled as part of account deletion to prevent future renewals. You will lose access to paid features once deletion is confirmed.
